I had to disconnect my door bell so people have to knock and they don’t go as crazy.I have 11 dogs so imagine me trying to corrall all of them. What I do with friends, family and even delivery men is have them call just about 10 minutes before arriving so I can get then into another room..Hope this helps you

My dogs bark as well. You can keep a spray bottle by the door & it may work. I’ve come to terms with it. I will get them rawhide bones when I know people are coming over. When people walk in the door, they sniff & then go back to their bones. They don’t bother anyone when they have their bones. I would try both. See which works better for you.
Good luck.

have one of your friends come over and have them walk in the front door when the dogs come up have them turn their back to the dogs this will take time to learn for the dogs but it will get them to leave your friends alone when they walk in the door. as for the jumping get a no jump harness it will not hurt the dog but it will make it hard to jump on someone have them wear it until they get the point

I have this problem as well but only with one of my dogs, he barks at door bells on tv and our doorbell, heck if a door opens he barks. i am using the spray bottle and when i see someone pull in i tell him no barking and i just keep saying it in a calm voice, if he barks take two fingers and press them firmly on his neck and say no barking or enough, just say it calm so it is not like you barking at them. I have been doing this for about 3 weeks and he is definetly getting better.
